Mitch
grew up in New Albany Mississippi with one brother and one sister.
It was a team effort, because often, times were
hard and we had to pull together to make ends meet. Therefore,
early on Mitch learned the value of the dollar. Sharing and
giving to each other was a way of life. Thus, Touching Peoples
Lives with works of art. Art was always part of Mitch’s life.
He would draw and sketch images of his dreams, often on brown
paper bags. It was the dreams of seeing mountains, rivers and
trees in distant places that seemed to have ended up on the
brown paper bag. Part of the background included being in the
High School Band, playing the saxophone. The music would often
take Mitch into a different world of bliss, his escape from
his daily life. Mitch graduated from W.P. Daniel high school
in 1963, enlisted into the United State Air Force with the plan
of gaining travel and education. While stationed in South Dakota,
Mitch met Janice Ann from Newcastle Wyoming. Mitch and Jan began
their life together on July 4, 1965; which has been a rewarding
adventure. Mitch earned his degree in Electronic Engineering
while traveling from base to base in the USAF. However, the
dreams of beauty seemed to always be present in his heart and
mind. Writings, and photography became the medium that Mitch
would capture the sight, feelings, and beauty of many aspects
in life.
Mitch
and Jan moved back to Mississippi in 1992. Mitch feels that
God had his hand on placing him in Guntown. Guntown, a small
community has become his home as well as the location for his
photography studio. Mitch is a Certified Professional Photography,
whose work for each Bride, Child, Senior or anyone is creating
artistic works of art as well as traditional photography. Mitch
is a member in good standing with the Professional Photographers
of America, past President of the North Mississippi Professional
Photographers, a member of Mississippi Alabama Professional
Photographers, International Freelance Professional Photographers
Association and other associations related to photography. When
due to the providence in design and grace of God, We are allowed
to see and behold the wondrous creations of His beautiful earth,
it is but 'In A Moments Of Time' that we behold the the art
given us to cherish.
